Schleich 15001 Oviraptor

The Schleich figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand-painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. The Oviraptor lived over about 75 million years ago at the time of the Velociraptor. The first skeleton discovered of it was lying on a nest of eggs. It was thus long assumed that it wished to steal the eggs. That's why its scientific name means egg thief. Now we know that it was a brooding parent.
